Training in Northeast
PRESS RELEASE
April 30, 2009, Sarasota, Florida
FirmoLux™, of Sarasota, Florida is pleased to appoint Lori Blomstrom, of Veneshe Plaster, Inc. of Easton, Pennsylvania, a certified FirmoLux™ instructor at her facility in Pennsylvania. Lori is an Italian trained master artisan and plaster applicator, and FirmoLux™ is thrilled she joined their team of professionals interested in teaching the traditional Italian style of authentic “Italian lime plasters” internationally.
Anthony Fiocco, of Sarasota Florida and the Executive Director of FirmoLux™ said, “Beyond Lori’s talent to teach the traditional methods of Italian plaster, Lori can also express her abilities to develop styles and textures beyond conventional or usual applications and create Venetian plaster finishes that have an appeal to clients who desire a more contemporary look. Mr. Fiocco said that “Lori gets it”, and that is something he doesn’t say often to his contemporaries. At a recent Firmolux training session in Florida earlier this year, Lori attended, trained, and consulted at the company's facility in Sarasota. Tony said “She’s a natural talent who has found her passion using natural lime plasters to achieve a look others can only replicate using acrylic plasters, paints and faux finish products”.
Mr. Fiocco also said that “Lori understands what most of North American Architects, Designers and Clients are looking for. They want a unique surface using green products that are luxurious in look and at the same time cost effective and practical”. Mr. Fiocco feels that in today’s rapidly changing construction and design industry, Architects and Designers are becoming more and more challenged searching out good environmentally sound products that perform well and give the aesthetic looks their clients want. Mr. Fiocco feels that “clients are much more sophisticated and responsible today when building and designing new homes or commercial projects, and are thrilled to discover FirmoLux Italian plasters that show respect for the environment and at the same time gives them a look that is appealing to their plans.”
Conveniently located just a short drive north of Philadelphia and west of New York City, Lori is completing her brand new two story training facility in the scenic rolling hills of rural Pennsylvania, just minutes from the historic Delaware River.
Call Lori, to find out what she’s already learned and practices daily. So if you’re brand new to Italian plaster, a seasoned professional expanding your knowledge, or you’ve been using another brand of Italian plaster and looking for a better more reliable product, then classes will unlock the power behind using natural lime plaster. You will find that using the FirmoLux™ system will change your abilities forever. Lori’s patience and common sense approach will make you feel at home, and her knowledge of FirmoLux Italian plaster products will make you comfortable about using them.
