FirmoLux™ is an all natural Italian Lime Plaster. Our plasters have been manufactured in Italy traditionally for centuries, and considered the finest products in our industry. Made from lime, marble, water and natural ingredients, they are a true "Green Building Product". With no synthetics or acrylics in our plaster, they are manufactured in the tradition of the Renaissance but improved by the technology of today.

Find out what most Architects, Interior Designers, Installers, and Building Contractors already know, that when you experience the beauty of working with authentic lime plaster over faux or synthetic products, they just don't compare.

      Learn Italian Plastering

Classes in Scenic Pennsylvania as well as Italy.  SOON in Portland, OR

2011 TRAINING SCHEDULE IS CLOSED
Please contact Lori or check back for our 2012 Schedule.  Lori will be adding Portland, OR to busy teaching schedule in early 2012.

FirmoLux Trainer Lori Blomstrom FirmoLux Italian Lime Plaster, in conjunction with Veneshe Venetian Plastering (www.veneshe.com), offers beginner to advanced Italian Plaster Applicator training classes in the art and trade of Italian Lime Plastering. Italy-trained master Italian plaster applicator Lori Blomstrom leads the hands-on plaster training sessions, which range from one day intro courses to four day sample builder courses for advanced plaster professionals. Blomstrom teaches students to become proficient Italian plaster applicators using FirmoLux imported lime plasters, and gain mastery of classic Venetian and Italian plastering techniques that can be applied to projects large and small--from simple home decorating to commercial and restoration projects.

Veneshe's Italian plaster training facility is located in scenic Bucks County, PA, an area known for its rolling hills and farmlands, yet conveniently located midway between Philadelphia and NYC, within an hour of Newark International airport. Full day Italian plastering sessions are punctuated at midday with a complimentary hearty and freshly prepared Italian lunch. Bed & Breakfast accommodations are available on-site at a special student rate.

Blomstrom brings her talent, humor, and years of training and experience as an Italian plaster artisan to create a class exclusively for FirmoLux that is as much fun as it is educational and inspiring. Past Italian plastering courses have included painters, muralists, Italian plaster applicators, drywall contractors and homeowners, all of whom have left with a portfolio of FirmoLux plaster samples and the confidence to undertake new Italian plastering projects, large and small. With hands-on training and experience, anyone can learn to master the basics of Italian plaster or improve their skills as a plaster applicator.
